Vitalic (nacido como PASCAL Arbez en 1976) es el gran artista electrónico de esta década.
Según una broma hecha en una entrevista, lo que derivó en biografía semi-autorizada, Arbez es ucraniano y emigrado de Ucrania a Alemania del este cuando cayó el muro de Berlín, acompañada por su perro, "Mini-Robot".
PASCAL fue allí identificado como un artista prometedor y fue llevado a Francia: EP fue lanzado en 1996 y 1997, pero confinado a la escena electrónica underground de la música. Sin embargo, él se hizo buen amigo de Michel Amato, a.k.a. The hacker, a quien él satisfijo en el Rex, el templo del techno de Laurent Garnier.
The hacker lo propuso para enviar sus pistas nuevas a Dj Hell, jefe del nuevo sello Gigolo en Munich.
Pascal así pues, con el apoyo internacional de Gigolo, lanzaron el EP bien conocido de Poney en 2001, que era un éxito enorme poco después de su lanzamiento. Con La Rock 01 Vitalic creó un himno de club que fue remezclado posteriormente por Sven Väth; fue un hit clubber en el verano de 2001. El tema ttambién fue incluido en muchos álbumes de recopilación.
En 2005, el primer álbum de Vitalic "Ok, Cowboy" fue lanzado por
Different/Pias. Pascal indica que todos los instrumentos usados en
el álbum están sintetizados.

Vitalic (born as Pascal Arbez in 1976) is an electronic music artist. According to a joke made in an interview, Arbez is Ukrainian and emigrated from Ukraine to East Germany when the Berlin Wall fell, accompanied by his dog, "Mini Robot". Pascal was actually born in France and is of Italian descent.
His first singles were released in 1996 and 1997, but were confined to the underground electronic music scene. However, he became good friends with Michel Amato, a.k.a. The Hacker, whom he met in the Rex, the "techno temple" of Laurent Garnier. The Hacker suggested him to send his new tracks to DJ Hell, head of Gigolo records in Munich. Pascal did so, and International DeeJay Gigolo Records, released the well known Poney EP in 2001, which was a huge success shortly after its release. With the track "La Rock 01", Vitalic created a club anthem which was subsequently remixed by Sven Väth, which was a hit with clubbers in the summer of 2001. The track was also included on many compilation albums, even rock compilations.
In 2005, Vitalic's debut album, OK Cowboy was released on Different/Pias. Pascal states that all of the instruments used in the album are synthesized. His official website states that "the only thing he can't fake is the emotion that galvanizes his music."
